Abstract

The article outlines the security and foreign policy relationship between the U.S. and Bahrain. Topics discussed include the U.S. naval presence in Bahrain territory, Defense Cooperation Agreement (DCA), military aid and Foreign Military Financing, Excess Defense Articles (EDA), and International Military Education and Training Funds (IMET). Also mentioned are the changes in the policies after the uprising of 2011 and its role in the backdrop of regional issues like the Arab-Israeli dispute.
