Chemotherapy-induced cardiomyopathy.

Improvement in cancer therapy has led to an increasing number of cancer survivors, some of whom may suffer from the cardiotoxic effects of chemotherapy. Cardiomyopathy can occur years after completion of the chemotherapy and it is important to recognize this early, as complete recovery of cardiac function is possible in some cases.
