Abstract
- The author comments on the paper "Centralization and Research Governance: Does it Work?," by M. Howarth, R. Kneafsey, and C. Haigh, published in the same issue. He holds the opinion that the paper does well to remind healthcare researchers about the principles and domains of research governance. He expects the British government to continue the development of research governance framework. He complains about the bureaucracy that surrounds research governance.
