Abstract

The article focuses on the vulnerability in the Xen virtualization software's emulation code. Topics discussed include open source hardware emulator Quick Emulator's (QEMU) CD-ROM drive emulation software which is the location of the vulnerability, patches released by Xen Project on June 27, 2015 which reveals database vulnerabilities and exposures, and QEMU process and code on host operating system (OS).
