WALK-IN WHITETAILS.

The article presents author's views on the walk-in hunting access (WIHA) programs that are being used by the deer hunters in Kansas and how he hunted a deer on the land designated as Private Land Open to Sportsmen (PLOTS) in North Dakota. Topics discussed includes compensation offered to the landowners in the U.S. Midwestern states, enrollment of lands in the U.S. Northeast states and grants offered by the Federal Natural Resource Commission administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
