Abstract
- The article examines the resistance of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) to call for retraction of a paper written by psychiatrist Martin Keller on the Study 329 placebo-controlled, randomized controlled trial of paroxetine and imipramine for adolescents with depression. It discusses the differences between Keller's paper and a restoring invisible and abandoned trials (RIAT) republication, the ethical problems within the profession, and fairness in journalism.
