IBM Has $2.6BIT Deal in Europe.

Solidifying its position as the dominant information technology (IT) outsourcing provider, International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) has landed a $2.6 billion deal with Nordea Group, one of the largest banking companies in northern Europe. The 10-year agreement, announced Wednesday, calls for IBM to consolidate Nordea's technology operations. The two companies plan to create a 900-employee joint venture to manage the systems. Last year IBM held the largest share of the global IT outsourcing market, with revenues of $15.3 billion.
