Abstract

The article discusses a case of a 49-year-old woman with Erdheim-Chester disease with atypical skin involvement. Topics covered include how a positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) showed uptake of fludeoxyglucose in the bilateral femoral and lower leg bones and multiple subcutaneous nodules and how a biopsy specimen from the skin nodules showed foamy monocyte hyperplasia.
