Abstract
- The article discusses a research conducted by Steven D. Glassman and colleagues which reveals that transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) has replaced posterior spinal fusion (PSF) as the most commonly used fusion technique for the treatment of lumbar degenerative disorders. It discusses the treatment of patients with spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, or adjacent segment disease with TLIF.
