Abstract
- The article presents a study that compares the effect of visual illusion (VI) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) on pain intensity and quality in patients with spinal cord injury. The neuropathic pain is measured using the visual analog scale (VAS), the neuropathic pain scale (NPS), and the brief pain inventory (BPI). It is suggested that TENS and VI therapies can be used as alternative treatments or support methods separately or together.
