Abstract

The article reports on license surrendered to originate loans in Georgia by the financial service provider Cornerstone Home Lending due to repeated violations of the Georgia Residential Mortgage Act. Topics discussed include Cornerstone to pay state banking department and to State Regulatory Registry for the violations, and closure of branch office in Georgia in 2014 according to the firm's lending director of marketing Jennifer Weber.
