Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the Study Day on Computer Simulation of Musical Creativity that was held at the University of Huddersfield in England on June 27, 2015. Highlights include the development of automated meta music, a connectionist and machine-learning approach presented by Andrew Lambert, Tillman Weyde, and Newton Armstrong to expressive rhythm generation, and the use of music computer systems to improve the creativity of humans.
