Abstract

The potential of neuroimage databases to accelerate the dissemination and use of information about brain structure and function is enormous and ever increasing. Numerous efforts are now underway to further develop the technology and sociology that are necessary to support this revolution. Each effort has its own approach and tackles some of the complex problems that are associated with creating and providing access to a database. This paper introduces many of the recent successes and future challenges that are faced by the developers and users of neuroimage databases. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
