Abstract
- The article focuses on the development in contemporary comparative constitutionalism in Canada with the spread of constitutional courts, judicial review and bills of rights such as Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It mentions that in Canadian constitutionalism can be traced to the adoption of the Constitution Act, 1982 and the changes in the immigration policy. it also mentions that the adoption of the Canadian Multiculturalism Act build awareness of multiculturalism.
