Abstract

In this paper, we investigate fixed point property for an l¹ like subspace in c<subscript>0</subscript> with an equivalent norm and talk about Lorentz-Marcinkiewicz spaces and fixed point property (FPP) for l<superscript>0</superscript> <subscript>w, ∞</subscript> space. It is seen that the subspace given with equivalent norm and Lorentz-Marcinkiewicz space l<superscript>0</superscript><subscript>w,∞</subscript> have weak fixed point property (w-FPP) but they both fail the FPP for nonexpansive mappings (n.e.).
