Abstract: The article focuses on the hazelnut allergy in children predicted by COR a 14-specific immunoglobin IgE. Topics discussed include Hazelnut allergy demonstrated by open oral food challenge (OFC); larger wheals after skin pricking with hazelnut extract; and prick-to-prick test with native hazelnut as more accurate in diagnosing symptomatic allergy.
