Never once in his first major leagues season, did baseball player Hideki Matsui look overwhelmed or flustered. However, it could just be that no one has caught him at the wrong time i.e. during his commutation from his apartment in Manhattan, New York City to Yankee Stadium, New York City. The on-the-field adaptation has been more difficult for Matsui than he has anticipated. However, the off-the-field changes, which have taxed so many international players, has bothered Matsui far less than has the two-seam fastball.
