Abstract
- The article describes the case of a baby with vasicular scalp lesions who was born to a 25-year-old primigravid without history of genital herpes simplex virus (HSV). The baby underwent a full septic workup and did not receive antiviral medication. The article discusses aplasia cutis congenita as a condition wherein the focal areas of dermis and epidermis are not present.
