Abstract

The article presents a surface texturing and femtosecond laser doping technology for dental implants. A thin layer was predeposited on the surface of titanium and adopted a femtosecond laser to ablate the composite surface. The doping concentration is controllable through the seeded silver layer thickness. The effectiveness of the technology was proved by cytotoxicity, antibacterial and acid aging experiments.
