The article examines the Georgia's policies regarding high school special education diplomas , as of April 2016. Topics discussed include challenges faced by Students with alternative diplomas both school and after graduation; goals of alternative diplomas to provide students with disabilities future opportunities; and enactment of Americans with Disabilities Act Amended Act of 2008.
