Abstract

In this article, the authors comment on an article by author M. Ding and colleagues regarding impact of coffee consumption on cause-specific and total mortality. Topics discussed include association of coffee consumption with low mortality risk in those who drink less than five cups a day, association of coffee consumption with mortality by cardiovascular disease among never smokers and inverse association of coffee drinking with premature mortality.
