Abstract

The article discusses solutions to arguments regarding the use of performance ratings in the evaluation and management of employee performance in the U.S. as of June 2016. Topics discussed include the ineffectiveness of using performance ratings as a human resource function, use of goal-attainment method in place of performance ratings, and argument against labeling of rating format as disappointing interventions.
