Abstract

The article reports that Line is an extremely popular messaging application in Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan and Thailand, the four countries that make up two thirds of the company's users. On average, Line users in those four countries spend more than four-and-a-half hours in the application each week. Line boasts a Swiss army knife of services, including music, television, games, stickers, taxi-hailing and grocery delivery.
