Abstract

The article discusses research regarding the stability of international normalized ratios (INRs) in patients taking long-term warfarin therapy, and it mentions how the drug warfarin is used to decrease the risk of stroke among patients with atrial fibrillation. The therapeutic aspects of non-vitamin K oral anticoagulants are examined, along with drug monitoring and safety measures. The claim that warfarin stability is difficult to predict is also assessed.
