Global Climate Change and Confronting the Challenges of Food Security.

Over the past centuries the global climate has been changing as a result of industrial uses of fossil fuels and various anthropogenic activities, resulting in greenhouse gas emissions, global warming, etc. Climate change and its impact has been quite pronounced in the past two decades. Among other things, one of the significant impacts experienced in recent times is in the areas of environment, ecology, economy, agricultural production and productivity as well as global food security, including human nutrition.
