Abstract

The paper presents implementation and application of multi-criteria evaluation for determining the degradation intensity of ownership relations in the case study area. Ownership criteria have been determined for 74 cadastral areas of the Žitava river basin. Parameters that are the most representative for ownership fragmentation of the area (the number of ownership relations and the number of plots per hectare) have been evaluated. The basis for determining the parameters of the property are cadastre database of the Slovak Republic. Combination of the criteria by cluster analysis, each area was included in the clusters according to their similarity. 5 groups resulted at the same level of clustering, based on which it may be presumed by context of ownership geolocation in the model area. Combining of different criteria in five levels of intensity, detailed description of clusters from least to the most complicated ownership area was deducted. All cadastral areas in different clusters can be regarded as similar and thus, in general, we can say that similar decision-making processes can be applied. In this paper we present some practical usage of this evaluation, particularly in relation of land consolidation process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
