Double Folding Potential of Different Interaction Models for O + C Elastic Scattering.

Abstract

The elastic scattering angular distributions for O + C nuclear system have been analyzed using double folding potential of different interaction models: CDM3Y1, CDM3Y6, DDM3Y1 and BDM3Y1. We have extracted the renormalization factor N for the different concerned interaction models. Potential created by BDM3Y1 model of interaction has the shallowest depth which reflects the necessity to use higher renormalization factor. The experimental angular distributions for O + C nuclear system in the energy range 115.9-230 MeV exhibited unmistakable refractive features and rainbow phenomenon. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
