Illustrating the implications of TBI on clinical practice.

The article presents a case study of a six-year-old boy of Western European decent whose emotional response appear exaggerated and he is easily distracted. The parents report that the boy was in a car accident when he was three and doctors diagnosed him with a moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI). The neuropsychological evaluation shows that the boy has difficulty with working memory, attention, math and receptive language skills.
