Abstract: We analyzed changes in hepatitis B virus and hepatitis delta virus (HDV) viral loads (VL) during tenofovir-containing antiretroviral therapy among patients with a replicating HDV infection in the Swiss HIV Cohort Study. Only 28.6% experienced a ≥2.0 log reduction in HDV RNA, and 14.3% had undetectable HDV VL within 5 years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
