Abstract
- The author presents his views on the article entitled "Transeyebrow supraorbital approach in large suprasellar craniopharyngioma (CP) surgery in adults: analysis of optic nervelength and extent of tumor resection". He mentions that CP adherence to hypothalamus is the major determinant of likelihood of a safe radical resection and that the type of optic chiasm distortion caused by the CPs is a factor related to both the primary tumour topography and its adhesion to the hypothalamus.
