Kaon Photoproduction in Field Theoretic and Multipoles Approaches.

In this paper we review our strategy to update the phenomenological model Kaon-Maid, which has been used since the year of 2000 and starts to indicate some inconsistencies with the presently available experimental data. There are two approaches used to this end, i.e., the field-theoretic and multipoles models. The advantages and disadvantages of both models are briefly discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
