Abstract: The article discusses the development of Ka-band free electron maser (FEM) amplifiers. Topics discussed include the creation of the said technology which was conceptualized through a collaborative research which aims to accelerate the application of FEM in various fields, and highlights the experiment which seeks to understand how electrons behave within the FEM amplifier.
