Abstract: The article presents the editor's comments on issues pertaining to the "Strategic Management Journal" (SMJ). SMJ has appointed a new associate editor, Richard A. Bettis, to a three-year term. C.K. Prahalad and Richard A. Bettis' 1986 paper "The Dominant Logic: A New Linkage Between Diversity and Performance," has been awarded SMJ's Best Paper Prize. The editor also discusses topics that will be covered in 1995s special issues, including "Technological Transformation and the New Competitive Landscape" for the 1995 Summer Special Edition.
