Abstract
- The article discusses significance of U.S. environmental laws in the political conflicts over the U.S. borders. It states significance of President Donald Trump's approval of Keystone XL pipeline crossing from Canada, and mentions a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) proposed by administration of President Barack Obama. It notes that U.S. requires executive permission be obtained for the construction and maintenance at the borders of the of facilities connecting foreign countries.
