TEACHING APPLIED DEMOGRAPHY.

In this paper, I examine the training needs of applied demography and suggest how demography courses and programs can better meet the needs of applied demography students. After defining applied demography, I discuss the topics that applied demography courses might cover, how to structure a program in applied demography, and available and needed teaching resources.
