Abstract
- We propose a new method of estimating magnetocardiography (MCG) current sources using reconstructed magnetic field data. Because, our MCG sensors were arranged in a 2-D plane, they could only detect the magnetic field data generated in front of the torso, which leads to estimation of blurred source imaging from deep sources. In this paper, we reconstructed the magnetic field data that cannot be detected by the MCG sensors. The locations of the reconstructed magnetic field data were also in a 2-D plane and parallel to the sensor array. The proposed method shows that it reduced the current-source extension and enhanced the spatial resolution for deep sources. We evaluated the current-source extension and spatial resolution at R peak. The active regions of the ventricular depolarization and repolarization were obtained using time integration with the current sources estimated at QRS complex and T wave, respectively. The proposed method can estimate high spatial resolution source imaging, especially for current sources that are far from the MCG sensors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
