Abstract: In this article, the author focuses on the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season. Topics discussed include findings of a study concerning the rising hazard of storm-surge flooding following hurricanes like Harvey, Irma, and Maria; ways which affects global warming; and importance of factors unrelated to modern climate change.
