Abstract

Based on cascading failures of the network, we investigate the same process of interdependent heterogeneous networks such as ER-BA, and propose a load redistribution strategy based on real-time processing ability of nodes. Simulation tests show that the overall robustness of the network is mainly affected by the BA network. The connection strength should be reduced when the cascading process is initiated. The load redistribution strategy based on the betweenness of nodes can easily lead to the failure of the central nodes and reduce the overall robustness of the network. The proposed strategy can optimize the overall robustness of interdependent heterogeneous networks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
