Abstract

In this paper I discuss the value of a capstone course in applied sociology as the culmination of the undergraduate sociology curriculum. I point out the advantages of joint faculty/student projects as the content for this type of course. Drawing on the experiences gained in four years of teaching such a course, I present the relative merits of two different formats: solo versus team projects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
