Abstract

The article offers the author's insights on the well preserved nature in Steeple Jason island in the Falklands archipelago. Topics he discussed include the diversity of species in the island which include albatrosses, Gentoo penguins, and dolphins, a brief history of the island which was used for sheep farming and was untouched by war, and the man-made risks to the Falklands wildlife including pollution, degradation of habitat, and climate change.
