THE GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN APPLIED MEDICAL SOCIOLOGY.

In this paper we describe a predoctoral internship program sponsored by the Medical Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association. In three years, the program placed 15 graduate students for three-to twelve-month internships in a variety of clinical and research settings and organizations concerned with the development of health policy.
