Abstract

The article presents a case study of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-induced haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) in a 28-year-old man with adult-onset Still's disease (AOSD). It mentions that the condition occured after initiating a subcutaneous tocilizumab (TCZ) therapy for AOSD. It notes that management of HLH depends on serum ferritin levels, age, and the presence of organ failure.
