Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 46-year-old woman, who had a history of general edema and dyspnea. Topics discussed include the soft-tissue edema revealed in a computed tomography (CT) scan, the diagnosis of protein-losing entropathy (PLE), and the patient's resistance to corticosteroid therapy. Also mentioned is the use of immunosuppressant therapy to treat the patient.
