Abstract

This article presents the report of the Committee for Liaison with National Council for the Social Studies. The purpose of the Committee of the American Sociological Society for Liaison with the National Council for the Social Studies is to improve the recognition of the interrelation- ships between the science of sociology and the social studies as taught in the schools. Pursuant to this accepted purpose, the following has been done since the 1952 meetings of the American Sociological Society. Meeting in Dallas, Texas, November 28, 1952 in connection with the meetings of the National Council for the Social Studies. Open meeting to be held at Berkeley, Au- gust 30, 1953. National Council meetings in Buffalo, New York, November 27, 1953. Arranged for a section meeting on Educational Sociology for the 1953 Berkeley meetings.
