Abstract

The article reports on the results of a survey titled "The Global Value of Water" which is based on the water and wastewater tariffs of cities across the U.S. Topics include the findings of the survey such as city dwellers in the U.S. pay more for water services than city dwellers in Western Europe, the increase in tariffs in cities like Pittsburgh and Denver to fund the repairs and tariff hikes to encourage water conservation in U.S. cities affected by water scarcity.
