Abstract

The Co<subscript>2.75</subscript>Fe<subscript>0.25</subscript>O<subscript>4</subscript> ferrite has been prepared by chemical co-precipitation route. The as-prepared sample has been annealed at 500° C. X-ray diffraction pattern indicated cubic spinel structure in the sample. The sample showed ferrimagnetic nature with magnetic irreversibility and hysteresis loop. Magnetization data revealed high anisotropic nature and at least two prominent meta-stable magnetic transitions below the highest measurement temperature 350 K. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
