Abstract
- The article outlines the proposed changes to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) rules to augment the monetary penalties against trafficking retailers. These include increasing transfer of ownership civil money penalties, and creating additional civil money penalties. It states that these penalties coan discourage retailers from engaging in trafficking and help recoup federal funds lost to fraud.
