Abstract
- The article discusses the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) of the Food and Nutrition Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) that contain provisions addressing shortcomings in existing retailer application regulations. The proposed changes include retailers failed to report changes in ownership, disqualified Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients applying to become SNAP authorized retailers and illegal retailer-to-retailer transfers of SNAP authorization.
