Abstract
- The complete chloroplast genome of <italic>Cerasus campanulata</italic> was obtained by using 454 pyrosequencing technology. <italic>Cerasus campanulata</italic> chloroplast genome is 157,906 base pairs containing 115 unique genes, including 79 protein-coding genes, 39 tRNAs and eight rRNAs. Phylogenetic analysis of the protein-coding genes indicates that <italic>C. campanulata</italic> is clearly a member of the Rosaceae order. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
