Abstract

The complete chloroplast genome of &lt;italic&gt;Cerasus campanulata&lt;/italic&gt; was obtained by using 454 pyrosequencing technology. &lt;italic&gt;Cerasus campanulata&lt;/italic&gt; chloroplast genome is 157,906 base pairs containing 115 unique genes, including 79 protein-coding genes, 39 tRNAs and eight rRNAs. Phylogenetic analysis of the protein-coding genes indicates that &lt;italic&gt;C. campanulata&lt;/italic&gt; is clearly a member of the Rosaceae order. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
