Abstract

QZSI is a good choice between input DC source and inverter network. This paper deals with modeling and simulation of QZSI Fed Induction Motor (QZSIFIM) with resonant arm and OTT filters. DC is applied to the inverter through a QZ network. The output of three phase inverter is filtered before it is applied to a three phase induction motor. QZSIFIM system with resonant arm and OTT filters are modeled and simulated using Matlab. The comparison of these systems is made in terms of voltage THD, current THD, and output power. The comparison indicates that QZSIFIM system with OTT filter delivers higher power with reduced THD. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
